Think camp out party with friends instead of a “wedding”. That’s more how we’re doin’ it. :)

Our Gift Requests

The greatest gift we could ask for would be to have a low stress, high fun wedding celebration with all of you whom we dearly love.

It would feel super supportive to us if y’all could help us in that regard by participating, bringing what you need, & helping out in some ways to make the event feel easeful and fun.

If you aren’t able to make it in person and want to send a gift we’d welcome Venmo or cash offerings as we embark on the adventure of trying to start a family that includes a tiny human or two, in addition to our furry babies.

Our little crew is pretty darn cute, but we’re thinkin’ it could get even cuter! :)

Venmo:

@Anna-Dow and @Steven-LeBreux

    • You may want to put your bevies in a bag with your name on them or bring your own small cooler.

    • This will help us in many ways (including event insurance) and everyone can drink exactly what they want :D

  • Kids are welcome. No dogs please unless you’ve talked to us about it first.

  • Anything else that you would want to bring that would make your camping/wedding experience more comfortable and enjoyable!

RSVP Deadline

We need folks to RSVP and sign up for potluck items by Sep 12th so we have a few weeks to finalize plans and catering needs.

Facilities

The gathering will be on our friend’s undeveloped land. We’ll have porta potties as bathrooms, including an ADA one.

There will be generators for powering the lights and music, but otherwise won’t have electricity. The land is a field, and we’ll be celebrating under tents to stay dry if it rains.

It’s highly encouraged to bring rain gear because the weather in Western NC is unpredictable!

What to Wear

We encourage comfort & fun! Please wear whatever you want.

Sparkles and/or magical woodland creature attire encouraged, but not necessary.

Keep in mind that layers could be helpful because it may be hot in the day and cold at night.

We recommend comfy shoes!

No Heels or Wedge Shoes as the ground is uneven and could be soft if it’s rainy leading up to the party.

Camping & Other Options

A limited number of peeps can camp on the land. Priority will be given to out of town guests who want to camp and folks who come to help set up on Friday.

If you want to camp please specify that in the RSVP so we can make sure there’s enough space for everyone who’s planning to stay the night.

There are also lots of Airbnb and hotel options in Hotsprings and Marshall, which are the closest towns. And there are cabins at the Hotsprings Resort about 5 minutes away for people who want to half-camp. They’re rustic with only beds and heat. :)

What to Do

October is a lovely time of year to hike in the mountains and check out the fall colors. And there’s a Hotsprings Resort & Spa near our wedding venue if you want to fit in some soaking and self care time.

Feel free to get in touch with any questions. And if you RSVP to camp, keep an eye out for an email from us with confirmation and more details.
